In an interview with EMTV, he said that his music, and especially his intellectual property right, was not well protected in PNG.
The protection of musicians and their music was the reason he went overseas. Especially in Australia and Johannesburg.

PNG Reggae sensation and internationally acclaimed artist Anslom Nakikus uses his music to preach and reach out to people.
He says, it is important that artists also he recognized for their work and have it protected.
